2026 Oxfordshire Junior League Matches
We are part of the Oxfordshire Junior Golf League.
It comprises two Divisions.
The clubs in each division change each year.
Last year we had Frilford Heath, The Wychwood and Oxford in the South Division.
At the end of the season there is a play off between the winners of the North and South Divisions to determine the Oxfordshire Junior league champions.
We play each of the clubs in our league twice, once at Drayton and once at their club.
The format for the Matches is that there is a team of six players and two reserves.
Three pairs play against 3 pairing from the opposition team.
This year, the two reserves will pair up and play in a friendly match following behind the league match.
If you are new to matchplay, don't worry you will be paired with one of our strongest players who will guide you throughout the match. Remember he or she will have been in your position when they started, so rest assured they will help and encourage you.
Key is enjoying your match. We would rather you come back with a smile on your face having lost, than a grimace on your face following a win.
At our home matches, all members of the junior squad will be able to sign up and follow on behind the match.
You will be paired up and play a friendly match.
In addition this year we will be having friendly matches, home and away.

Junior League Matches and events
We use SPOND to organise our league matches and events.
You will be invited to join the Junior league Spond group, if you are new to the Junior league section.
On this you will see all the opportunities to play. There are numerous opportunities to play in a lot events other than league matches once you have a handicap.
The junior league squad for 2026 is shown in the page below.
On Spond please indicate for each event or match that you are invited to attend whether you are available or not.
Team selection is done by our Junior Captains.

Our aim is to give all members of the Juniors league squad with a handicap the opportunity to play in matches and events.
